Terms & Conditions — Nova Clean Dry Cleaners
1General
These terms and conditions apply to all customers using the services of Nova Clean Dry
Cleaners, operating from 77–79 Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames and Halfway Parade,
Hersham. By leaving garments or items with us, you agree to these terms.
2Acceptance of Items
We reserve the right to refuse any item we consider unsuitable for cleaning. Items are accepted
at our discretion and subject to our assessment of fabric condition, care labels, and cleaning
suitability.
3Care Labels
Customers are responsible for ensuring items have readable care labels. Nova Clean will follow
manufacturer care instructions where visible. If a care label is missing, damaged, or unclear, we
will use our professional judgement — but cannot be held liable for any resulting damage.
4Pre-Existing Damage
We will make every effort to identify pre-existing damage, stains, or wear before cleaning.
However, some conditions only become apparent during the cleaning process. Nova Clean
cannot accept liability for damage that was pre-existing or that results from inherent fabric
weakness.
5Stains
We will make every reasonable effort to remove stains. However, we cannot guarantee
complete removal of all stains, particularly those that are old, set, or caused by substances that
permanently alter fabric. Customers should declare all known stains at the point of drop-off or
collection booking.
6Shrinkage & Colour
Some fabrics are prone to shrinkage or colour loss during cleaning, particularly those without
proper care labels or made from natural fibres. Nova Clean will take all reasonable precautions
but cannot be held responsible where shrinkage or colour change results from the nature of the
fabric itself.
7Collection & Delivery
Collection and delivery slots are offered subject to availability. We will make every reasonable
effort to meet agreed time slots. Nova Clean cannot be held liable for delays caused by
circumstances outside our control, including traffic, weather, or vehicle issues.
Free collection and delivery is available on orders above £30. Orders below this threshold may
be subject to a delivery charge.
8Turnaround Times
Standard turnaround is advised at the time of booking. Same-day service is subject to
availability and must be confirmed at the time of booking. Nova Clean cannot guarantee
same-day completion during periods of high demand.
9Uncollected Items
Items not collected within 90 days of completion will be considered abandoned. Nova Clean
reserves the right to donate or dispose of uncollected items after this period. We will make
reasonable attempts to contact the customer before doing so.
10Liability
Nova Clean’s liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to a maximum of ten times the
cleaning charge for that item. We strongly recommend customers do not submit items of
significant sentimental or monetary value without informing us in advance.
We are not liable for damage resulting from:
● Pre-existing wear or weakness
● Missing or incorrect care labels
● Customer-applied treatments prior to cleaning
● Inherent fabric characteristics
11Complaints
Any complaint must be raised within 48 hours of collection or delivery. We will not be able to
investigate complaints raised after this period. To raise a complaint, please contact us at

12Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking or collection. We accept all major credit and debit cards,
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash in store. Online bookings are processed securely via Stripe.
13Privacy
Customer details are collected solely for the purpose of providing our service. We do not share
personal data with third parties. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy on

14Changes to Terms
Nova Clean reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Current terms will always be
available on novacleanuk.com.
